UI / UX Design
Prototyping an app concept, ready to hand off.
UI / UX design is usually for clients who need an app concept prototyped, to hand off to a team of developers, or potentially for me to build later.
01 // Method
I don’t create high-fidelity prototypes. I focus on designing the elements, the key layouts and the UX. This avoids wasting time, as the design finesse can be applied via code at the end, after the natural revisions that will occur.
02 // Deliverables
The design elements, the key layouts and the user flows for the app concept, as a prototype a development team can build from.
03 // Value
The design is aligned with the strategy, to avoid clutter and overcomplicating the user journey. A concept that is clear enough to build, without paying for finesse that would be redone in code anyway.
04 // Process
- 01
Discovery.
What the app has to do, and for whom.
- 02
Elements and layouts.
The components and the key screens.
- 03
UX.
The flows through them, revised with you.
- 04
Handoff.
To your developers, or to me to build.
I see projects through to the finesse at the end, with taste and attention to detail.
